Beginning Photography-Rockport/Fulton Area
Thank you very much for your interest in my upcoming photography class!
Laura was kind enough to post on the Rockport/Fulton Living FB and her FB page. Many thanks to Laura I really appreciate her help here! I have about 80 people that are interested. And you are one of them! To recap: it will be a 4 week, one hour, Beginning Level Photography Class ($50. Each class), that will give you the proper fundamentals to start your journey into photography the correct way.
My classes will be no more than 10 people in each so that I can give each all the proper time to make sure that you understand your camera, what the dials and buttons do and where they are located.
Most likely there will be 3 to 4 classes to (10 people each) once a week covering the basics, with one-on-one, questions and answers and my focus is on you understanding how a camera how it works and how YOU tell it what to do, not the other way around.
Understanding shutter speed, aperture and ISO — what they are — how they work together is paramount to you becoming a good photographer. From there I will teach you how to get the right exposure every time and eliminate bad shots. Then into what combinations of shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings are best for different subject matter. Then I will take you into lenses, what they do, the different kinds and what is good for shooting what.
Your eyes, and your brain are the drivers here, not the camera. The camera is a tool. Just like a paintbrush or charcoal. A tool to be used creatively to tell a story, capture a moment and connect us emotionally to the world, what you see and what you want to share with others! It’s a beautiful thing when you know you can tell the story that you see, easily and with confidence! That is my goal for each and every one of you to achieve!
Please send me your email and a phone number so that I can get back to you on the dates, times, where and when if you haven’t already done so. Start Here!
