Repairing from Harvey…

Repairing from Harvey…

Journal, notes Saturday, June am.

The light is different every day on the bay in Corpus Christi. The color of the water, the clouds, wind direction, and speed of the wind, all affect what we see here. One of the unique things about shooting down here are the birds that show up randomly way out in the sky and the occasional fast drive by close in. In long exposures, birds make some pretty wild streaks across the horizon. What was different today in addition to all this was a barge doing the repair on one of the piers that were damaged by Hurricane Harvey. I really liked how the light from the clouds cast different shadows on the water and the angle of reflection of the sun with its flickering glare saying look at me!
